China provided $1.5 Million in cash for Pakistani flood affectees

The Chinese government has handed Pakistan assistance worth $1.5million in cash for flood affectees as a token of friendship between the two countries. Local media reported.

china-pak-floodsThe assistance was handed over by the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong in a formal ceremony at the Economic Affairs Division. The handing over certificate was signed by Chinese Ambassador and Secretary Economic Affairs Division Nargis Sethi.

The Chinese Government is closing monitoring the situation in Pakistan and has indicated its readiness to provide all possible assistance to Pakistan.

The EAD Secretary thanked the Chinese Ambassador on behalf of the government and said that the present government has embarked on a policy of further deepening friendly relations between the two countries.
