LEGO and Danish Embassy to implement Education programme for Pakistani schools

The Embassy of Denmark in Pakistan has expressed its interest in supporting Danish toy company LEGO’s education programme in Pakistan. According to English Daily The News, during a visit to the LEGO store, Danish Ambassador Jesper M. Sorensen expressed great pride in having LEGO come to Pakistan by opening its first flagship store in Karachi. “This is an exciting time for us and we are in discussion with LEGO on how we can support their education programme for Pakistan,” he said. “It is not only a great platform to enhance trade relations between our two countries, but also a great support to our current and future development programmes, which have a strong focus on providing quality education to the underprivileged children in Pakistan.”

As we seek to expand our operations, we want to make our contribution by setting up educational institutes across the country. These institutes will deliver teacher-tested, classroom–ready solutions for engaging and inspiring young learners and combining the unique, inspiring qualities of LEGO bricks with subject-specific tools and curricula so classroom teachers can meet key learning objectives.”

Danish toy brand LEGO is set to expand its operations in all the major cities of Pakistan.
