Helping Hand for Relief and Development distributes food items and Eid Gifts

Helping Hand for Relief and Development has announced it has distributed food items and Eid Gifts to the poor people, flood victims and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in 38 Districts of Pakistan while 30800 individuals of 4,400 families would be benefitted from the food items and Eid Gifts.

HHRD_Aug2-2013Country Director Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) Mr. Fazal-ur-Rahman said that food items and Eid Gifts have been distributed among flood victims, Afghan Refugees and other needy people in 38 different districts of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtonkhwa, and Baluchistan, FATA, Gilgit baltistan and Azad Kashmir. HHRD will distribute these food items among Nowshera, Charsadda, Mansehra, Muzzaffarabad, Havali, Gilgit, Kotli, Poounch, Turbat, Ziyarat, Khuazdar, Jaffarabad, FATA, Deer, Malakand, Laki Marwat, Sawat,Bannu, Balakot, Batagram, Karachi, Kashmor, Thatha, Jakabad, Badin, Raheem Yar Khan, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Jampur, Gujarwala, Attak, Murree, Sanghar, Mansoora, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Director Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) Saleem Mansoori and Program Manager Amjad Mahmood Amjad also visited various parts of country and distributed food items and Eid gifts among needy and flood effected people, especially IDPs of flood hit and remote areas. Helping Hand assured the poor and needy people of support in future, too. Country Director said that at least, 30,800 individuals of 4,400 families would be benefitted from the food items and Eid gifts distribution in 38 districts of Pakistan. The beneficiaries included widows, orphans and other extremely vulnerable individuals.
